Johanna Embacher studied English and Philosophy for secondary schools at TU Dortmund University. She wrote her master's thesis on ELF in the ELT Classroom – Developing ELF-aware Teaching Materials for Secondary Schools with Prof. Dr. Ehrenreich. In June 2023, she joined the Applied Linguistics and ELT Chair at TU Dortmund.
