So, yes! “September days” will be here, and so will the very next LinPin! Seizing this thrilling opportunity, we invite all Ph.D. students in linguistics across Nordrhein-Westfalen to join us in the IBZ of TU Dortmund University on 15 September 2026. We will engage in a variety of activities together, such as talks, poster sessions, and presentations, fostering a mutual exchange of knowledge.

LinPin is the ideal place for all PhD students in linguistics in NRW who wish to present their research and/or share experiences from their ongoing process. As is tradition, LinPin is organized by PhD students for PhD students, fostering a welcoming, positive, and appreciative atmosphere for your progress. 

LinPin stands for – and expects – respect and diversity. Consequently, it offers a warm and entertaining atmosphere for all of you, whether you are a doctoral newbie with a long way to go or close to the finish line in your dissertation. This is a chance for you to present your work, receive constructive feedback, learn what others have been working on, and give your feedback on their work.
