What the internal student advisory service does not do:

  1. The internal Departmental Advisory Service service CANNOT make BOSS entries .
  2. The internal Departmental Advisory Service DOES NOT assign examiners for final theses or BLS examinations and DOES NOT give advice about any assignments or seminar papers.
  3. The internal Departmental Advisory Service CANNOT provide INFORMATION on the individual EXAMINATION CONTENT of lecturers.

Questions about the course of study

In principle, you should first consult the module manuales and study plans of your degree program to clarify any questions you may have.

Recognition of coursework and examinations

Your documents will be checked on the basis of combination certificates and BOSS entries, and recognition will be based on the content of modules already completed. In addition to the form below, always submit all complete combination certificates and BOSS entries or a transcript of records . Do not write any additional information on the recognition form, but send it to us by email.

Please use the following form.

Signatures

The Departmental Advisory Service can sign combination certificates on behalf of lecturers if they have left TU Dortmund University. As proof, an email from the lecturer can be presented, for example, showing the name of the student, the title of the course and the type of service.

Please note that your request can only be processed if you send us all documents completely and legibly filled out.

Deadlines/times

Please ensure that you submit your documents in good time. It can take up to 4 weeks to process complete applications. Applications submitted less than 4 weeks before the end of any application or transfer deadlines will of course be processed, but a timely decision on the application cannot be guaranteed. Avoid incomplete submissions and sending multiple letters by email (except in urgent cases), as this can increase the workload and delay processing.

Please refrain from using the individual email addresses of the student advisors for matters concerning the Departmental Advisory Service. Please contact them exclusively at: studienberatung-deutsch.fk15tu-dortmundde.
