"Diversity in Culture"

In active engagement with the paradigm of diversity, the books in the series Diversity in Culture put the theories and concepts of Diversity Studies under scrutiny. These research approaches contribute strongly to the description of macrosocial processes of transformation towards diversity and inclusion by asking how interdependent differences can be imagined and communicated in modern societies. How and under which conditions were and are people writing and speaking about differences at the intersections of aesthetic and socio-cultural communication? Which benchmarks and consequences were and are derived from that?

The series is edited by Sigrid Nieberle, Gudrun Marci-Boehncke, Barbara Mertins, Carolyn Blume
