Research profile
Prof. Angela Ines Klein is a lecturer in German as a foreign language at the Federal University of Pelotas in southern Brazil.
In her postdoctoral research, she is investigating “The processing of compound words in German: a comparison between native speakers and foreign language speakers.” From September to November 2025, she will be collecting data in the psycholinguistics eye-tracking laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Barbara Mertins.
Back in Brazil, the international collaboration will continue with the analysis of data and the preparation of scientific articles involving several researchers from the Mertins team.
