Lisa Middelanis holds a master's degree from the TU Dortmund University for teaching social sciences and English. In addition, she holds a certificate in literary translation from the University of Iowa. She is currently a research assistant for digitally mediated teaching and learning, with a specialization in English at the Dortmund Competence Center for Teacher Education & Re­search (DoKoLL).

K4D: "Collaborative Teaching and Learning with Digital Media in Teacher Education - Mobile, Subject-Specific, Inclusive"

Using digital media in a variety of ways to foster collaboration among learners at tertiary, secondary, and primary levels to foster interaction and shared meaning-making. 

 

I4S: Interact4School - Out-of-school individual learning and the interface to school teaching

An interdisciplinary research and development project together with the University of Tübingen, the Leuphana University Lüneburg, and the TU Dortmund, bringing together NLP, artificial intelligence, motivational psychology, and school-based EFL to design digitally-enhanced, competence-oriented opportunities for language practice within a task-based model of language learning.
